CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College head football coach John Bland and his staff are pleased to announce 15 student-athletes have returned National Letters of Intent during the December signing period.

All 15 players are from the junior college ranks and will be on campus in January and join the Choctaws for Spring Practice.

“We feel like addressed nearly every need we had with this signing class,” Bland said. “This is our most successful mid-year signing class that we’ve had since coming to Clinton four years ago. We added several players that can and should make an immediate impact.”

Each of the 15 December signees are products of Mississippi junior colleges and 14 of 15 are from the State of Mississippi. Northeast MS CC and Northwest MS CC each produced four members of the class, while Jones County JC brought in three. The class also has the distinct characteristic of having two sets of twins (Derric and Detric Hawthorn and Cole and Turner Rotenberry).
