As you know, Connie Magee was recently diagnosed with ALS. Connie and her husband David are two of the nicest people you have ever met. David has been a lifelong tennis player and volunteer coach for SCA. Our local tennis association is hosting a tournament in their honor on August 12th.
On Friday, August 11th, our tennis association, along with Farm Bureau, will be selling chicken lunch plates with all of the proceeds benefiting Connie and David. Tyson has donated enough chicken for us to sell 300 plates and Flynt’s on Main has donated the corn. This is where we can use your help.
Tickets are available with the tellers at both branches of PriorityOne Bank and at People’s Bank. For $8.00, ticket holders will receive a leg quarter, beans, corn and a roll. The plates will be available from 10:45-1:00 at the 5-way stop in Magee.
