Since becoming an Alderman, I receive calls concerning different issues in our city.  I do not mind the calls!…every call has been a “real” compliant.

Monday, I received a call from a local citizen with a complaint about the black car in the parking lot in front of the old Jose’s building & United Credit.  Just as the caller said, the car had busted windows with glass everywhere!  According to the caller, the car had been there for four months.

No joke, the car had been bashed!

I spoke with Police Chief Chris Jones.  Chris informed me that he would check out the situation…and he did!

According to the Chief, the car is a repossessed vehicle belonging to United Credit.  According to United Credit, normally repossessed vehicles are not kept at their office.  Chief Jones spoke with the personal at United Credit who assured the Chief they would make every effort to removed the vehicle.

Another complaint received this week was a recliner (chair) being left in front of a business on Main Street.  The Mayor assured me he would take care of that situation.

Let’s do everything we can to clean up Magee.

Have you got an issue, just contact Sue.
