Charlie Lee Foster, 85, of Mendenhall, MS passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Bedford Care Center of Mendenhall in Mendenhall, MS. He was born Friday, June 12, 1931 in Simpson County, MS.
Visitation will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church on January 24, 2017 from 9:00am until 10:00am. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother David Jager will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601)847-4401
Mr. Foster served his country in the Korean War.
Mr. Foster is preceded in death by Sisters – Pauline Boggan, and Margie Maddox; Brothers – Woodrow Foster and James Foster; Parents Frank W. Foster and Lula Etta Foster; Son – Tommy Stewart,
Mr. Foster is survived by his Wife – Elizabeth P. Foster; Daughters – Mary Martin (Mike), Mavis Carmichael; Sons – Ronnie L. Foster, David W. Foster, Buddy Stewart (Libby) and Kenneth Stewart (Patty); Sisters – Christine Coleman, Francis Crawford; Daughter-in-law – Sheila Stewart; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
