(March 13, 1932 – September 7, 2016)

Charles G, Sullivan 84, of Braxton, passed from this life Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Jupiter Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Bro. Roger Lee and Bro. Danny Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Jupiter Baptist Church in Mendenhall.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Simpson County. He was a member of Jupiter Baptist Church. He retired from Sperry Vickers after thirty-two years as a supervisor; He was also a farmer and former county supervisor of district five.
He is survived by daughters Deborah S. Kees (Robert), Brandon, Judy S. Head (Steve), Florence, son Charles Michael Sullivan (Dedria), Braxton, Sisters Betty Sue Sullivan Taylor (James), Glenda Sullivan Brooks (Harold), and Jane Sullivan Everett (Bob); Brother Billy George Sullivan; Grandchildren Robert Benjamin Kees (Kristen), Emily K. Weimer (Eric), Sara K. Kennedy (Zach), Jennifer H. Brewer (Keith), Jessica Chalk, Natalie Sullivan, Abbie Sullivan, and Alexis Sullivan, great grandchildren Charles Mason Weimer, Benton Broyles Weimer, Chole Elizabeth Kees, and Noelle Anne Kees, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Sullivan, parents Marvin Thomas Sullivan, Sr., and Roxie Vernell Sullivan; sisters Helen Sullivan Sinclair, and Joan Sullivan Turnage; Brothers Marvin Thomas Sullivan, Jr., and Louie Wesley Sullivan.
