I want to personally thank the citizens of Simpson County for allowing me to serve as your Tax Assessor and Collector for the last 28 years. I would also like to thank the staff of the office and all the local elected officials for their cooperation and support. My family and I appreciate your support and will cherish the friendships that have been made. It has been my honor and privilege to serve each of you in this capacity. My family and I will forever be grateful to all of you for entrusting me with the many responsibilities that come with this office. It has always been my desire to fulfill my original and only campaign promise, which was to offer you professional and courteous service.. I pray that I have fulfilled this promise. I will miss working with you in the many issues that we’ve encountered through the years. Some were viewed as positive and some negative, but all have been handled with concern and integrity. I ask for your prayers as I look forward to my future endeavors.
Rhonda and I will definitely be found following, and enjoying our four grandchildren.
