Mr. Football is a prestigious award given by the Mississippi High School Activities Association and Mississippi Association of Coaches to the top players from each classification. This award was presented to Chandler Pittman by Lonnie Tillman and Robert Holloway with MHSAA.

This award is in coordination with the New Orleans Saints and has been awarded to high school football players since 2016. This award is designed to honor and showcase the best players in the state regardless of grade during the regular season.

Chandler Pittman was chosen as Mr. Football for Class 3A. This award was given to him for his outstanding work as quarterback for the Magee Trojans and ultimately leading them to victory as the 3A State Championships. He is excited for his future as he will play wide receiver at the University of Southern Mississippi this fall along with one of his teammates Zay Franks who will also be a wide-receiver.

Mayor Dale Berry, Coach Dyess, Dewayne and Kathy Pittman, Chandler, and Former Mayor Jimmy Clyde

We are so proud of Chandler and the Magee Trojans for all of their hard-work and dedication. We know Chandler has a very bright future ahead of him.
