The Magee Chamber of Commerce has donated $1,000 toward the purchase of barricades to be used for parades, events at the Sportsplex, and any activity requiring barricades.

According to Mayor Jimmy Clyde, the barricades erected for the Christmas parade were borrowed from another town. “We are very appreciative of the chamber donation,” stated Clyde. “This will be a start to the funds needed for this project,” Clyde said. Approximately, $10,000 will be required for complete coverage of Main Street and other areas.
