Jackson, MS born and son of Cinda Thompson Wolf formerly of Magee, Chad Wolf was sworn in as the Secretary of Homeland Security, making him the fifth person to lead the third largest department in the federal government under President Donald Trump.Chad is 43 years old and studded at Villanova University and Southern Methodist University.
According to the Washington Post, among the first tasks potentially awaiting Wolf is the implementation of a controversial accord that would allow the United States to send asylum seekers at the U.S. border to Guatemala. DHS was expecting to implement the agreement last week, but the State Department and the Justice Department have not given final approval.
Cinda now lives in Jackson. She was in attendance for the swearing in ceremony and had lunch at the White House with the President and Vice President!!!
