On Friday, February 6, the Central Mississippi Regional Library System held its Annual Team Development Day. Eighty-six library staff members from the 20 CMRLS libraries in Rankin, Scott, Simpson, and Smith Counties; and the administrative office, met for a day of workshops and fellowship. Decorations for Team Development Day were super heroes with everyone looking forward to the 2015 Summer Reading program, “Every Super Hero Has a Story.”
At this time CMRLS also recognized Simpson County individuals receiving service awards and Simpson County branches for outstanding service throughout the year. CMRLS Director Mara Polk, with the support of the CMRLS Board of Trustees, acknowledged the following:

The CMRLS Board of Trustees is made up of two Board Members from Rankin County and one from each of Scott, Simpson, and Smith Counties. The Simpson County Board Member is Peggy Kelly.
