Carson Smith, backed by outstanding teammates, threw a no-hitter in the quest for the District Championship Monday night, September 14, 2020. The Simpson Cougars defeated Hartfield Academy 4-0.
Carson, who is an 8th grader at SCA, started on the mound and lasted seven innings allowing zero hits and run. She struck out three and walked one.
Senior Maddie Moody had a single and a RBI. Grace Giordano had a single and 2 RBI’s. Ma’na Womack also had an RBI.
Simpson Academy did not commit a single error in the field
