Carolyn Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins Thompson arrived in this world December 14, 1965, and painted the sky as she went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Everyone who crossed her path heard about Jesus, salvation, love, forgiveness and how to make the best of any bad situation.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Hopkins; father, Ed Enlow; mother, Charlotte Hodo Enlow; first husband, James Rayborn; second husband, James “Pete” Warren, and brother, Chester David Hopkins.
She is survived by husband, Ken Thompson; sons, Charles Preston Rayborn, James Montgomery Rayborn, Richard Derrell Rayborn (Karli); daughter, Charlotte Ann Warren Thompson; stepsons, Joseph Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Kenny Thompson, Kyle Thompson; Sisters, Cathy Hopkins Massey (Brice), Sharon Enlow; brothers, James Hopkins, Mark Hopkins (Tracy); grandsons, James Preston Summerlin, Jeremy D Barrett, James Lucas Rayborn, Isaiah K Rayborn, Mika Thompson; nieces and nephews and a host of loved ones who cherish her memory and will never be the same without her on this earth.
A memorial will be held to honor her life at Oak Grove Church of God in Polkville, MS on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Dewayne Miller officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home.
