Carl Dean Jordan, 71 of Laurel, MS went from his earthly to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was born Friday, June 12, 1953 in Magee, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS. A graveside service will follow at 11:30am at Waco-Fairmount Cemetery in Mize, MS. Wayne Loftin will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Carl was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. One of his favorite hobbies was hunting for arrow heads. He enjoyed working in his garden and spending time with his 3 babies; Rat, Ruthie, and Buster. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, T.J. Jordan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 8 years, Brenda B. Jordan; daughter, Cristie Reed (Terry); step-son, Raymond Brooks (Dana); step-daughters, Jennifer Hughes, Angela Runnels (Johnny), Katie Williams (Michael) and Lacy Ingram (James); mother, Tommie Loftin Jordan; brother, Ricky Jordan (Julie); sister, Charlotte Walker (Loren); 12 grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tillman Loftin, Tommy Loftin, Terry Reed, Gerald Loftin, Larry Joe Loftin, and James Ingram.

Honorary pallbearers will be his two best friends; Ricky Chadwick and Carter Ingram.
