Jackie Moody and Barbara Hilton meet almost everyday in the parking lot of the Simpson County Technical Center and strike out on their walk on the Highway 49 frontage road.
Wednesday morning, May 13, 2020, the ladies returned to their cars finding damage to Jackie’s car.
According to Mendenhall Policeman Jason Smith the incident took place between 7-8:15. “The front passenger side window and rear passenger side window had been busted allowing entrance into the vehicle,” stated Smith. Smith also noted that this is the first reported break-in in this area.
Jackie stated on Facebook: “Message here is be careful, hide your purse and anything valuable you may have in your vehicle.”
The incident is still under investigation by the Mendenhall Police Department.
