Turkey season officially opened Wednesday, March 15, 2017 for all ages.
Alex Boykin wasted no time scouting and killing his first bird of the season.
This nice turkey had a 9 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.
As soon as the bird flopped to the ground Alex knew the kill was successful.
Boykin was all smiles! What better way to spend spring break.
