Cameron Larkin of Magee has been named the Senior Sports Writer Editor for the Ole Miss “Daily Mississippian.”  Cameron calls Magee home and is a graduate of Simpson Academy.

Although Cameron lived “way” down the street from me, we became friends about 5 years ago.  He and I share a love for writing and talking!  For his Senior project, Cameron created a podcast out of my office.  Cameron and two other guys would show up and talk sports! Through studying and YouTube, Cameron learned the ins and out of a podcast.

I interviewed Cameron Tuesday morning.  I feel it is awesome that he went to Ole Miss and kept pushing and working to find a writing job.
