She stated, “It is evident through these ratings as well as the confidence that is shown in our clinicians, staff and agency that we are doing things right. We strive to provide the highest quality of care to each patient and ensure that all services are consistent with the orders received from the MD as well as holding firm to the client and caregivers needs and wishes. At the forefront of our mind is holding strong to the guidelines set forth by CMS, which are in place to ensure that patients everywhere are served in an effective manner and receive the best care possible. We are pleased to be recognized by this new system of care ratings as a leader in providing Home Health services when compared to all providers across the country. It is our pleasure to provide this care and we look for ways to improve our services every day.”

All Medicare-certified Home Health Agencies are potentially eligible to receive a Quality of Patient Care Star Rating. The rating system offers a star rating based on home health agencies’ performance on nine of 29 quality measures posted on the Home Health Compare website, which are determined based on Medicare claims and patient assessments conducted by the agencies. CMS began posting ratings in July of 2015 and provides quarterly updates of the ratings.

Ratings posted in July of 2016 were as follows:
