God takes the ashes of our life and makes something beautiful is the goal for “Beauty from Ashes” a residential recovery program located in Magee.

Brother Jermey and Jennifer Smith are directors of the program which works with recovery for men and women who have drug and alcohol addictions.

The non profit organization is sponsoring a fundraiser “Buy a tree-change a life.”  Christmas trees are on sell behind Jose’s Restaurant.  “When you purchase a tree, give a little more than the cost of the tree,” stated Jennifer Smith.  “The money is used for children ministries over seas as well as the United States,” she explained.

According to Brother Jeremy, children are now allowed to stay with their mothers who are participating in the program.  “This open a new area for needed additional funds,” explained Smith.  The children attend school and participate in school activities.  Due to the mother’s situation, the moms have no money to assist with the children’s expenses.

For additional information, contact Brother Jeremy at 601-921-1164.

If you know someone who could benefit from Beauty from Ashes ministry, contact Brother Jeremy.
