Brian Keith Purser, 52, of Magee, MS, passed away on November 26, 2025.

Born on May 20, 1973, Brian was known for his quick humor, class-clown personality, and his lifelong

passion for music. A talented musician, he played in several bands over the years and

enjoyed expressing himself through his music.

Brian graduated from Simpson Academy and later earned a degree in Architecture

Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he achieved President’s List

honors. He went on to work as a Project Manager for multiple commercial contractors and

was also a licensed Residential Builder.

He is survived by his children, Evan Purser and Emma Purser; his mother, Beverly Lane

Rainey; and his siblings, Lindsey Rainey Miller, Bradford Rainey Jr. (Megan), Scott Rainey

(Benedicta), and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Evon Harold Lane and Minnie Merle (Ross)

Lane, and his great-grandparents, Drewy Hilton Ross, Lucille (Miley) Ross, John H. Lane,

and Mary Lee (Waltman) Lane.

Brian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Magee City Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

Visitation will be at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 11:00 until 1:30 pm.
