Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 02, 2022 at Rials Creek Church in Mendenhall for Brenda Lee Welch, 62, of Mendenhall, who passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at her residence. Interment will be at Rials Creek Cemetery in Mendenhall. Bro. Bobby White, Bro. Jimmy Bruce White, Bro. Gary Phillips, and Bro. Daniel Ferguson will officiate the services.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 and 08:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on July 2, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Magee, MS.

She was born June 23, 1960 in Meadville, MS to Jimmy H. White and Mary Viola White.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.  She enjoyed playing cards and board games.  Her favorite thing to do was to listen to her kids and grandkids sing and play gospel music.  After over twenty years of service with Milwaukee Electric Tools, she retired to be able to spend more time with her babies.  She lived, she laughed, and she loved.  A passage of scripture that was very important to her was Mark 5:25-34.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Jimmy H White; Mother, Mary Viola White Bennett McClure.

She is survived by her Husband, Sidney Michael Welch of Mendenhall, MS;  Son, David Michael Welch (Charity) of Mendenhall;  Daughter, Chante Nicole Welch Ferguson (Daniel) of Mendenhall; Grandson, Gaven Ferguson; three Granddaughters, Karli Welch, Madelyn Ferguson and Mikayla Welch.; two Brothers, Jimmy Bruce White (Becky) of Germany and Bobby White (Debbie) of Tyler, TX;  two Sisters, Janice White Herrington (Cecil) of Pineville, LA and Wanda White Walker (Mike) of Meadville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Welch, Daniel Ferguson, Gaven Ferguson, Tim Herrington, Jeff White, and Timmy Magee. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Walker, Joel Bennett, Paul Mumme, Jeff Bennett, Barry Borchers, and Stan Runnels.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. Friends may sign an online guest register book at www.colonialchapelmageemendenhall.com
