Boswell Regional Center celebrated with a reception honoring Steven Allen Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
Steven has accepted a position with the Department of Mental Health. Friends, family, co-workers, elected officials, Department of Health employees, and community leaders gathered with standing room only to honor Steven on his next endeavor.
Steven has meant a lot to the Boswell community and will be missed greatly. Allen expressed his gratitude for all who came and the wonderful people he has had the opportunity to work with.
Steven was presented gifts from the Boswell friends and family and he was given a parking pass for his service along with gift certificates.
Allen stated ,when approached, if Boswell could hold a reception he said only if his replacement could be honored and introduced as well. The new director, Clint Ashley was introduced and received a warm welcoming. Mr. Ashley will began after the first of the year. Ashley is excited and looking forward to his new role at Boswell Regional Center.
