Bobbye retired and became a part-time Avon Representative of which she was awarded several achievement awards. She was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Mendenhall, MS, where she was Assistant Song Director, very active in WMU and taught Sunday school for many years. A friend to many, Bobbye led by Christian example. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Bobbye is survived by her son Tim Patterson and his wife Betsy; sister Carolyn Martin; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Buford “Jim” Patterson; daughter, Cindy Mangum; brother James Bounds and sister, Reba Barthel.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 15 from 10:00 am. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., all at New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Mendenhall, MS with Bro. Pete Pearson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
