Bobby “Stanley” Kennedy, age 68, was peacefully called home on Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born July 25, 1952, to Oid Benson Kennedy and Barbara Loucile “Bobbie Lou” (Lyons) Kennedy.

He was a lifelong resident of Simpson County, proudly born and raised. He lived his life with an adventurous free spirit. He was a jack of many trades and had a passion for people. He loved country music, tinkering and was especially fond of his horses. One of his favorite sayings was “Do as I say and not as I do!”

He is survived by his two children, Dr. Scott Kennedy of Magee and Mandy Kennedy Westbrook and her husband, Glen Westbrook of Madison, MS, along with six beloved grandchildren, Katie Beth, Kristi Jo Kennedy and Analise, Hughes, Katie Grace, and Beckham Westbrook. He is also survived by his two loving elder brothers, Paul and Billy Kennedy of Magee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
