Bobby Joe Yarbrough, 73 of Taylorsville, MS passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, March 23, 1952 in Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 10:00 A.M until 12:00 P.M at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 07, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Taylorsville. Burial will follow in New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS. Bro. Eddie Hartfield and Bro. Steve Ellis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Mr. Yarbrough was a member of Station Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Collins. He worked in the construction industry and at Sullivan Enterprises for over 40 years. Mr. Yarbrough cherished spending time with his beloved fur babies and had a deep affection for his family.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, June D Yarbrough; parents,, JC Yarbrough and Patsy Ruth Tanner Yarbrough.
Survivors include his second wife, Jennifer Rena Yarbrough of Taylorsville, MS; son, Charles (Robbie) Yarbrough (Farris) of Taylorsville; daughter, Melissa A Brannon of Hattiesburg; step-son, Chanc Williams of Bay Springs; grandchildren, Dakota A Brannon of TX, Katarah D Brannon of Hattiesburg, Chase H Yarbrough of Collins and Gloria Yarbrough of Taylorsville; brothers, James Curtis Yarbrough of GA and Sammy Ray Yarbrough (Debbie) of TX; sister, Shirrell Dean Markham of Taylorsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Brannon, Chase Yarbrough, Kelly Spier, Austin Pittman, Dain Bankston, and Colt Bankston.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Yarbrough, James Yarbrough, Joey Sullivan, WC Keyes, Doug Hart, and John Lofton.
