Bobby C. Holland, 89, of Taylorsville passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the Covington County Hospital in Collins, MS. He was born Sunday, January 14, 1934 in Arkansas.

  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. at Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Bro. Jeff Martin will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564.

  Mr. Holland was a proud Marine and a motorcycle enthusiast. He retired as a beautician and loved talking to people about topics he was interested in like motorcycles and the Marine Corp.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Havard; his parents, H and Maggie Holland; two sisters.

  Survivors include his son, Tyler Holland and wife, Sheila of Arizona; step-children, Tony Havard and Sheila Havard of Taylorsville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; friends, Thornton Barley and Kathy and numerous other friends.

  Pallbearers will be James Jones, Bruce Bankston, Lane Wiley, Jason Barley, Forrest Barley, and Thornton Barley.
