Reverend Gary Roberts and Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Williamsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Special music will be provided by his daughter-in-law, Vicki Magee Mooney.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Collins Civic Center, 3220 U.S. Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi, 39428

Bobby was born on September 18, 1947, in Collins, Mississippi to Marion Alton Mooney and Dorothy Lee Mooney.  Bobby started his career with the City of Collins in the electrical department in 1975, and continued on being elected as Alderman in 1979.  He held this office for forty-two years until his recent retirement in June of 2021.  Bobby played a huge role in the growth and development of the city as well as the state during his tenure.  He leaves a legacy as a leader in the community who was fair to everyone and treated them equally. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
