Bobbie Nell Smith, 92, of Mount Olive, Mississippi, died Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, September 14, 1926.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Coat Cemetery in Magee. Bro Dee DeBold will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
Mrs. Smith was married to her late husband for 67 years prior to his heavenly reward. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a member of Coat Baptist Church. During her years, she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a great home maker. She loved her family and enjoyed her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband Shelton Smith, her Father, Charlie Runnels, her Mother, Pearl Smith, and her Step-father, James Boyce Smith, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Survivors include her children Cheryl Stone her husband Ron, Michael Smith his wife Tammy, Nita Williamson her husband Mike, Grandchildren, Melanie Nunnally her husband Matt, Michael Shelton Smith II his wife Maggie, Erin Giles, Trent Smith, Shelly Covington her husband Brad, Rebecca Sanders her husband Mickey, Clint Russell, 13 Great- grandchildren, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Pallbearers will be Matt Nunnally, Michael Smith, Darrel Grubbs, Charles Orman, Clint Russell, and Tom Grubbs. Honorary pallbearers will be Ance Grubbs, Daniel McWilliams, Gary Martin, and Russell Caudill.
Mrs. Smith prior to her passing, requested that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to a hospice charity or a charity of your choice.
