(March 22, 1956 – October 24, 2022)

          Bobbie Ruth Maxie, 66 of Wesson, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Monday, October 24, 2022, at her residence in Wesson, Mississippi. She was born on Thursday, March 22, 1956.

          Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

          Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Bullock Cemetery in Seminary, Mississippi. Bro. Charlie Meadows will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

          She was preceded in death by her father, William Maxie; mother, Ruth Strickland Mathis; and cousin, Clifford Strickland.

          Survivors include her uncle, James Strickland, Sr.; cousins, Michael Taormina (Lisa), Lamar Watts, Angie Blakenship and James Strickland, Jr. (Liz); and a host of other family members and friends.

          Pallbearers will be Jonathan Watts, James Watts, Tyler Taormina, Lee Taormina, Wilford Speed, Jr., and Zay Speed.
