Bobbie Lee Coats (Nanny) went to her eternal home to be with Jesus on

December 29, 2022. Bobbie was born the 19th day of October, 1931, to

Benny R. & Beuna Davis Lee. Bobbie was preceded in death by her

parents, her husband Buck Coats, brothers Earl E. Lee and Floyd D.

Lee, sisters Louise Lee Cliburn and Jean Lee Prine. She was also

preceded in death by several In-laws.

Bobbie is survived by sisters Jewel Lee Peacock, Madge Lee Sanders,

daughters Gail (Bruce) Courts, Christie (Duke) Pylant, and son R. Buck

(Tina) Coats. Nanny leaves behind 10 Grandchildren Clint (Erin) Courts,

Cassie Brunson, Coati (Kaitlyn) Courts, Jonathan Pylant, Benjamin

(Jennifer) Pylant, Grace (Jason) Rogers, Grayson Pylant, Nickie

(Brandon) Jones, Allie Coats and Sarie Coats as well as 12 Great

Grandchildren and many dear friends whom she loved very much.

Bobbie enjoyed reading, listening to music, especially The Gaither’s, and

helping others when she could. She loved her family, her friends and her

Lord.

In concern for others, the family will hold a private graveside funeral

service on December 31, 2022, at Macedonia Baptist Church in

Mendenhall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Colonial Chapel

Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
