Bobbie Jean Sullivan, 86, of Mount Olive, MS, passed away at her home surrounded by her family as she would have wanted on May 17, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1938, in Pioneer, LA. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Mount Olive, MS.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 10 – 2 at Calvary Baptist Church in Mount Olive, MS, with the service following and burial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Larry James Dennis Jr. of Mize, MS, will officiate. Special thanks are given to Pastor Danny Forrest of Lone Star Baptist Church, chaplain through St. Luke Hospice Care, who visited her home many times recently through the end of her illnesses. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements 601-849-5031.

Bobbie loved God and her family more than anything, especially her husband of 67 years, Terrell Sullivan. Anyone who knew her well knew that wherever you saw one of them, you saw both. She especially loved and adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and her face would light up when she often spoke of any or all of them. She shared a special bond with her only surviving brother, Paul Hall, and was known to often check on him throughout her own illnesses. She was known for her great cooking and enjoyed nothing more than having her family spread throughout her home during the holidays over the years. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard in her flowers until she was no longer able to do so. She was always known for her exceptional “green thumb.” Bobbie was a loving wife and mother, adoring Mamaw, loving aunt, and a great friend to all. She will truly be missed beyond imagination by so many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Hall, her mother, Dollie Eley Hall, and brothers, Jack Hall, Pete Hall, and Jimmy Don Hall.

Survivors include her husband, Terrell Sullivan, and children, Debbie (Rickey) Ainsworth of Mount Olive, David Sullivan of Poplarville, MS, and Kristy (Jacob) Welborn, also of Mount Olive, MS; grandsons Adam Sullivan of D’Iberville, MS, Chase Ainsworth of Oxford, MS, Tyler Welborn of Mount Olive, MS, Zach Ainsworth also of Mount Olive, MS, and Randy (Jan)Tanner Jr of Magee, MS; and granddaughters Kayla (Mark) Smith of Poplarville, MS, Ashley (Jacob) Mahaffey of Tulsa, OK, Brittney Ainsworth of Hattiesburg, MS, Haylee Welborn, Emaleigh Welborn, and Presley Welborn, all of Mount Olive, MS; and great grandchildren, Amberly, Kylie, Ryker, Eloise, Lindan, and Marybeth Smith, all of Poplarville, MS, Lilian and Lucy Mahaffey of Tulsa, OK, a soon to be great grandson, a host of nieces and nephews, and pup, Jasper, that she loved very much.

Pallbearers will be Chase Ainsworth, Zach Ainsworth, Tyler Welborn, Dewayne Hall, Chris Hall, and Mike Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Mahaffey, Cory Lee, Aulden Easterling, Jacob Welborn, and Rickey Ainsworth.

Special music will be provided by Carolyn Norris of Collins, MS, who is fulfilling her written wish from years ago.
