Dr. Thomas R. Blackledge, Jr. came before the Magee Board of Aldermen asking for annexation of 6 acres located near Spring Lake Subdivision. Blackledge has owned the property for several years.
The acreage will be divided into 5 individual lots available for sale to the public. The city will provide labor for the construction of the sewer and water system. Blackledge will be responsible for the materials. (Labor/Material is the method the city has used with other projects in Magee)
The 5 lots will be under the same covenants as Spring Lake Subdivision.
The board is in favor of the annex but will wait for Attorney, Bruce Smith, to approve all legal aspects before proceeding.
