Billy Thomas Looney, 72, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at his home in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, February 1, 1949.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mr. Looney was one of the best truck drivers ever to grab the wheel. He always had a great sense of humor and he was fiercely protective and loyal to family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Looney; parents, Bantey and Leona Hopkins Looney; sisters, Charlene Hash and Coreen Costanza; brother, Carlos Looney.

Survivors include his daughter, Billie Lyn Looney of Magee; sons, Glen Wiley and David Wiley both of Magee; sisters, Eula Looney Hash and husband David of Florida and Bertha Little and husband E. R. of Kentucky; numerous grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
