Billy Seborn Austin, 79, of Magee, MS and former resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Sunday, September 3rd.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, with funeral services to follow at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mize. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements 601-849-5031.
He worked for LP&L Houma La. for 34 years and retired in 1992. He enjoyed daily visits to Zip’s Cafe, weekly card games with friends, watching football, and weekend auctions.
Mr. Austin is survived by his wife Patricia Morvant Austin, Children: Billy L. Austin, and wife Myra, Daughter Jeanne Austin Galliano, and Husband Vernon Jr., Julio (Lisa) Perez, Alonzo (Carolyn) Perez, Mario Perez, Holly (Thomas) Duet, Kelly (Anthony) Taylor, Shelly (Kevin) Rousse. 19 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, He is also survived by his brother Harold “Buddy” Austin and Wife Jeanette along with numerous other family and friends, and Canine Pals.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Newell Austin, and sister Becky Austin Wooley.
