Billy Fred Martin passed away on December 6, 2017, at the VA Hospital in Jackson, MS at the age of 64. He was born on July 22, 1953, to his parents Buck and Myrna Martin Bougon.
Billy served in the United States Marine Corps from October 16, 1972, until August 16, 1974. He was the owner of Martin Heating and Cooling in Mendenhall.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buck Arlone Martin, and brother, Davis Martin.

Billy is survived by his loving wife, Patti Nichols Martin; sons, Jeremy Martin (Keri), Shane Martin (Carla); mother, Myrna Bougon; mama, Georgie Nichols; brothers, Buck Martin (Rosaline), Phillip Bougon; sister, Pam Pearson; and seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Martin, Karoline Martin, Myles Martin, Chase Martin, Logan Martin, Madison Martin, Mary Katherine Martin and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Bro. Michael Giles will be officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
