Billy H. Allen, 83, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his residence. He was born on October 14, 1939, to Thad A. Allen and Margie Johnson Allen in Smith County.

In his earlier years, he served in the United States Navy. He was a self-employed businessman and a man of many trades.

He was born in Smith County and died in Smith County and did a lot of good living in between.

He is survived by one brother, Mart Allen; one sister, Nancy McDonough and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thad and Margie Allen; brothers, Charles Allen, and Webb Allen; sisters, Faye McElveen, and Maxie Gibbons.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Calvary Presbyterian Church at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Bro. Larry Mills and Bro. Lin Jackson.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
