Bill Shirley Sr., 90, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday at Miss Care Center in Raleigh.

Bill Shirley, Sr. was born Thursday, August 9, 1928.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral Services will be held  for Mr. Shirley Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. The Burial will follow in Rials Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Buddy Bayliss will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Shirley and Lucille Shirley; brother, Johnny Shirley; sister, Delores Ratliff.

Survivors include his wife, Nola Shirley; son, Butch Shirley (Debbie); daughter, Dianne Martin (Steve); stepchildren; Roger McCool (Amy), Kathy Bond (Larry), Patricia Morgan (Dan), and Brenda Petros; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Dean (Lannie).
