Friday, July 21, 2017 Mayor Dale Berry drew names for a bike to be given away by the Magee City Library.

Children were entered into a drawing based on the books they read this summer.

25 children were entered into the 100 book club, which means they read 100 or more books this summer.  Several of these kids also read 15o-200 books. There were several kids who read 50, 60 and 70 books. Matt Pudas was proud of the amount of books children read this summer.

Before the drawing Mayor Berry told the children it was very important to read each day.  The Mayor asked them to find something they enjoyed weather it was hunting, fishing, or sports and read about every day.

The names drawn by Mayor Dale Berry were: Kayln Durr, Zoey Yarbourgh, and Dawson Lucas.  An additional drawing was pulled for tickets to a Braves game and the winner was Lane.  A last name was not given.  As soon as we have the name we will update.
