lovebulldozerThe sign is up and the bulldozers are rolling…Love’s Truck Stop is coming soon!  I do not have an estimated date of opening…but “I heard” once the company starts building…everything moves fast!  The 25 employees will be a positive for the Magee area.

Don’t forget Treat Street Monday night at the Magee Sportsplex hosted by Health Trust of Magee General Hospital.

I hope you have the MageeNews.com App on your phone.  If you do not, download now!  An I Phone uses the App Store and other smart phones use Goggle Play.  Just go to the App store/Google Play type in the search bar “MageeNews.com.”  The app is free.  One question you will be asked if you want notifications.  Say yes!!! I do not send a bunch of notifications…but I think you will want the ones sent.

MageeNews.com will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting live Thursday night beginning at 6 PM.  The meeting can be viewed on the home page of MageeNews.com in the featured video area which is near the bottom of the home page.  Allen Floyd, Republican Chairman of Simpson County and George Jackson, Democratic Chairman of Simpson County will be on the hot seat.  Area Democrats and Republicans will ask the chairmen questions live…no pre-planned questions.  I think the meeting will be quite interesting and one that will help our public decide how to vote.  During the live stream, questions maybe be texted to 601-310-6881 or emailed to Sue@mageenews.com.  We will try very hard to get your question answered…or your statement read.  You may send your questions for the chairmen beginning Monday, and I will hold the questions for Thursday night.  Don’t miss the live stream.  We will archive the event for later viewing.

Have a blessed weekend.
