Beverly Smith passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on August 28, 1957, to Bobby Lee Lang, Sr. and Harriett (Thompson) Lang in Denver, CO.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Braxton.

She is survived by her husband, David Smith; sons, Joshua Lee Gardner (Laurel), David Smith II; daughters, Tiffany Denton (Mark), Nicole Smith (Shane), Kathy Ward (John), Jennifer Gill (Tommy), Charlotte Sue Smith; brothers, Bobby Lee Lang, Jr. (Sun), Brad Lang (Eltrina); sister, Misty Munch (Terry); eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Earl Stanley Gardner Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 16, in the chapel at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with interment following in Merit Cemetery. Brother Maurice Bryant will officiate the service.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
