Bettie Sue Higgins, 81, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Friday, September 23, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Harvey Magee will officiate. Burial will be in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Mrs. Higgins is survived by; sons – Joey Chambers (Kristy) of Braxton, Jerry Chambers of Vicksburg, Jeffrey Chambers (Paula) of Vicksburg; daughter – Janice Chambers of Mendenhall; Grand Children – Lacey Chambers (Willie Harrell) of Mendenhall, Jordan Chambers of Mendenhall, Jaleayah Harper of Mendenhall ,Crystal Blair of Braxton, Justin McAlister of Mize, Angelina Gregory of Braxton, Ashley Chambers of Blandinsville, IL, Arianna Chambers of Broomall, PA, Alexander Chambers of Vicksburg, Michael Chambers of Purvis, Nathan Storey of Vicksburg; great grand children – Arriannah Chambers of Mendenhall; Cayden Harrell of Mendenhall, Kylee Harrell of Mendenhall; sister – Emily Slay of Mendenhall and brother- Harvey Magee of Brookhaven.
Mrs. Higgins is preceded in death by: parents, Harvey and Lillian Miley; son- Jimmy Chambers; great-grandson Brayden Chambers; four brothers, three sisters, and two husbands.
