Bertie Mae Bynum Rogers passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Hillcrest Nursing Center. She was born on August 22, 1928, to Lloyd Morgan Bynum and Flora Lee McNeil Bynum in Taylorsville, MS.
Mrs. Bertie Mae sewed and was good at it. She enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and reading her Bible. She loved her family fiercely. She loved her church, Riverside Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, Herman W. Rogers, and her parents.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Herman Rogers (Tony); grandsons, Derek Wilson Rogers (Kristy), Terry Lee Rogers.
The graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Southern Memorial Gardens in Magee, MS, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jimmie King officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Bertie requested no flowers and instead donate to your favorite charity.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
