BEING TOUCHED BY GOD
Have you ever been to a worship service and said to yourself this service is boring? In today’s devotion we will read about how God is in the touching and healing business.
Acts 16:25-26; And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God and the prisoners heard them and suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s bands were loosened.
This verse tells us of one of the greatest touches from God. Are you praying so loud that your neighbors can hear you? Our singing must be so good that it touches the portals of heaven. God will break our shackles and set us free from this world if we let Him.
God is a God of action. If we take the first step He will take the next and we will be set free.
God loved us so much that His son bought love and life eternal for us. The only thing made by man in heaven are the nail prints in the hands and feet of Jesus. God wants you and I to do these three things. These three things are submit, trust, and then obey 100%. If we do these things then we become a child of God forever and ever.
Christ touches us and we are not the same ever again. We start caring for people as people. If America would get a true touch from almighty God, what a country we would be. We must come to our houses of worship and expect a true movement of God almighty. Reach out and touch the Lord as He passes by. We sometime lose our vision set before us. We are a lighthouse to a lost and dying world.
Today let the angels of God rejoice, sing, and shout for another child has come home. I have a saying if we do not see each other at the next appointed time, I will see you at the house. Want you let this week be your week of victory.
