When I first met Brother Buddy Keys and his wife Jackie, I thought I was meeting a reincarnated Jackie Kennedy! Her resemblance to President Kennedy’s wife was uncanny. I soon learned that her beauty was not only physical. She was a lady with a heart of service, a heart of love, and a heart of devotion.
Jackie loved Brother Buddy and Brother Buddy loved Jackie. You didn’t see one with out the other. Her support and steadfastness for her husband spoke volumes about her character.
Her love for others was always evident. She welcomed all ages into her life and her home.
After retirement, Brother Buddy and “Miss Jackie” began a totally new adventure…raising and selling vegetables! The pair was famous for their best of the best tomatoes.
Please pray for Brother Buddy and his family. Their hearts are broken. Their future without Jackie is scary. I have so much admiration for a couple who publicly shows love to one another. There was never a question about their love.
I will miss my friend. I will miss her smile. She was so loved.

Burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Petal.
