The Scriptural passage for today is found in Romans 12:2: “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–His good, pleasing, and perfect will.” Continuous study and daily reading of God’s Word are essential if we are to know God’s will for our lives. In addition, we must pray, asking God for wisdom and discernment. God wants us to be curious about His plans for us, because He is our Father; we are His children. Let us not be slack concerning this all-important part of our Christian walk. Today, as we go about our routine, let’s pray for guidance and enlightenment from God. Then, let us share with others the love, joy, and kindness God, our Father, shares with us. As the old gospel song proclaims, “Let your life so be that all the world may see the joy of serving Jesus with a smile, a bright, shining smile.” We can do it.
