The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Jeremiah 30:17: “‘I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.” The “weeping” prophet time and time again delivered God’s message to His erring people regarding judgment and restoration. They would not listen; they refused to heed Jeremiah’s warnings. God is a just God. He is true to His Word. His mercy is boundless to those who show a contrite spirit. Let us be of that nature. If we but turn to God, live according to His strictures, He’ll restore us and provide healing and comfort. Amen!
