“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other.”

The Scriptural passage for today is found in Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ, God forgave you.” The apostle in this verse is giving instructions to the early church as to how they’re to conduct themselves among their fellow members. These instructions were to extend into the marketplace and beyond. We, no less, are to adhere to this code of conduct for the Christian. We are to be kind, compassionate and forgiving if we are to please God and to be Christ-like in our daily walk. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God.

Now, we have a chance to share and spread love, joy, and kindness with people today. We are each allotted 24 hours in a day. How will we spend it? Let’s strive to be more Christ-like in our demeanor. Amen!
