By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Again, we have the apostle addressing members of the early Christian church, telling them how they should conduct themselves. A loving spirit of forgiveness is essential to ensure unity and peace in any group, but especially among brothers and sisters in Christ. Without forgiveness and mutual respect, chaos and disunity result. And we must always keep in mind that we are forgiven by God in the same measure as we forgive others. Be known as a forgiving and loving person and not rigid, bitter, and stiff-necked. Amen!
Happy Monday!
