According to Maintenance and Transportation Director Jeffrey Walker, “the bats are gone…I have not seen a bat since the first of last week.”
The bat situation was difficult not just for Magee Elementary…but the entire school system! The middle school and high school cafeterias took up the
slack in feeding the elementary students…from preparing sack lunches to preparing and serving food. The Magee school system pulled together
to make the best of a bad situation.
Children are back eating in the elementary cafeteria. No more busing…no more sack lunches being eaten in a classroom!!!
