Barbara Jeanette Bairfield, 72, of, Mendenhall, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born Sunday, November 7, 1948 in Magee.

  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.

  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery. Bro. Gary Lawson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

  She was preceded in death by parents, William and Mamie Kennedy; brothers, Billy Ray Kennedy and James Ershel Kennedy.

  Survivors include her children, Bobby Bairfield, Jr. (Gail), Bruce Bairfield (Tonya), and Brooke Jones (Kevin); grandchildren, Brandon Bairfield (Alyssa), Lauryn Brinson (Michael), Justin Bairfield (Wendy), Victoria Bairfield, Brad Lewis (Jennifer), Ashley Lewis, Aeron Jones (Kristina), Austin Jones, and Alex Jones; six great- grandchildren; sisters, Teena Huggins, Annell Hamilton, and Mamie Atkinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

  Pallbearers will be Brandon Bairfield, Justin Bairfield, Sarge Kennedy, Aeron Jones, Austin Jones, and Alex Jones.
