Barbara Jean Duckworth, 76, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, November 26, 1942.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. The Burial will follow in Coat Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Lonnie Wood will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Duckworth was a member of Coat Baptist Church in Magee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McKinley; parents, Hillard and Clemmie Wood; sister, Carolyn Butler; brother, Shelton Wood.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Dorsett (David); grandchildren, Hannah Barnard (Brian), Hillary Hayman (Danny), and Halie Pike (Chris); great-grandchildren, McKinley Barnard,  John Barnard, and Watson Barnard; brother, Lonnie Wood (Cindy); sisters, Maxine Vowell (Tony) and Sue Jones; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Pike, Danny Hayman, Brian Barnard, Ashton Wood, David Wood, David Cooper, and Larry Gandy.
